About the Event

🚶‍♀️ Guildford's Car Free Day 2023: Embracing Community and Choices 🚴‍♂️

On  September 24th, Guildford Borough Council is taking a step towards a  greener future with Car Free Day. As we temporarily close the streets,  we invite you to join your local community in exploring an alternative  way of moving through our town. 🌆🛑

This day offers a chance to  experience a town where pedestrians are in focus, a vision that's both  inspiring and open to dialogue. We respect that preferences vary, and  we're here to share the possibilities that a more pedestrian-friendly  environment can bring. 🚶‍♂️🚗

Connect with respected voices from  the council, the University, and residents to understand how we can  address climate change together. Your concerns and questions matter –  this event aims to provide insights and information that cater to a  range of perspectives. 🌱🗣️

By the end of the day, our goal is  simple: to offer you options. Whether you're looking to explore cleaner  transport alternatives, save time and money, or simply gain a new  perspective, this event has something for everyone. No matter your age  or opinions, we invite you to engage in the conversation and discover  new ways to make our community more sustainable. 💡🌍

So save the  date for September 24th and be part of an inclusive discussion that  shapes our town's future. Let's come together to consider the  possibilities and the choices that lie ahead. 🌈🚦
