Show the Love: Together With Refugees

Big Leaf Foundation is a charity supporting displaced young people across Surrey. Their vision is of a community where displaced young people are valued, supported and given the ability to create better outcomes for themselves. They have partnered with 'Together with Refugees,' a coalition of over 300 organisations that believe in showing compassion to displaced people, to call for a kinder, fairer and more effective approach to supporting refugees. An increasing number of refugees are climate refugees, forced to leave their homes to escape the accelerating climate crisis, so this February, as part of the nationwide 'Show the Love' campaign, Big Leaf will be operating a pop-up in ZERO. All you need to do is fill out an orange heart with a message to a displaced young person who has recently arrived in Surrey OR a note to your MP about how you believe those seeking sanctuary in the UK should be treated. These hearts will be displayed in Guildford and shared online as part of a nationwide campaign.

Together we can turn the UK into one big orange heart, the symbol of a kinder, fairer and more effective approach to refugees.
