About the Event
Discover the history and future trajectory of The Land Trust, a national charity set up originally to restore derelict coal fields and toxic land into thriving community spaces for people and wildlife.
Learn more about their model for sustainable long-term management of green space and hear about local sites in Surrey managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust you can visit.
Presented by Marie-Anne Phillips, Community & Estates Officer for The Land Trust who has worked previously as a Countryside and Community Ranger for 17 years and now manages over 6 sites in the Hampshire and Surrey area.
There will also be a representative from Surrey Wildlife Trust to explain their partnership model.
