About the Event

  • Come and find out how to make your money work for you and the planet.  Hear from sustainable finance industry experts on a wide ranging discussion of banking, savings, investments and pensions.

  • Understand the role your money is potentially playing in funding the solutions to sustainability problems and/or the harms it is creating.

  • Understand the opportunities and risks that sustainable finance presents and compare these with the risks and opportunities of unsustainable finance.

  • Leave with some simple, free and actionable tools to help you navigate the world of personal and business finance.

Why join the event

If you are interested in making an impact, then few places offer as much opportunity than looking at your money – Make My Money Matter estimate that “making your pension green is 21x more powerful at cutting your carbon than giving up flying, going veggie and switching energy provider”.

If you are interested getting good long-term returns from your savings and investments and great service from your providers, then an understanding of the risks and opportunities is essential.

Please note all investments carry risk and past performance is no guarantee of future returns. Our fossil-fuelled past is very unrepresentative of the future we need to build and adapt to. The timing and speed of our transition to a new economy makes short to medium term returns more uncertain.
