Zero Carbon Guildford needs a project officer to help guide the strategic direction of the Sustainable Business Network.
The first SBN event at ZERO
The Sustainable Business Network (SBN) is a joint venture between Zero Carbon Guildford and the University of Surrey. We are looking to recruit an SBN Officer position to help drive forward the decarbonisation and improved sustainability of businesses locally, which contribute 25-30% of the borough's emissions.
The SBN holds events, which combine knowledge exchange opportunities from world-leading academics at UoS, as well as practical advice on the subject matter from local SMEs and leaders in corporate sustainability. In between events we offer support via case studies, interviews and workshops to help businesses achieve their sustainability and emissions targets.
Working with our partners we help small & medium enterprises, at any stage of their sustainability journey. This ranges from making connections to local businesses SMEs can partner with, right through to helping businesses build complete carbon management plans through Clean Growth UK's Net Zero 360 course, which is held several times throughout the year with our partners LoCASE.
